Profiles in Lack of Courage: TONY ("T.J.") JOHNSON and NIGEL YALDEN (Apr. 13, 2012)

This post is by Radio Transcripts Ltd, a division of Daisycutter Sports Inc.

Larry Williams Drive, NewstalkZB, Friday 13 April 2012, 5:40 p.m.

To preview the weekend's football, Larry Williams talks to TONY
JOHNSON and NIGEL YALDEN. Before discussing this weekend's prospects,
however, Williams asks them to comment on the racist slurs about the
Auckland Blues.

Tony (T.J.) Johnson launches into an impassioned denunciation of the
"anonymous, faceless people on the social networking sites. You have
to question their sanity."

Williams agrees wholeheartedly. "It's just a tiny minority of
racists," he asserts. "Faceless, anonymous cowards."

Nigel Yalden is vehement in expressing his feelings: "Anyone who
stoops to using race as an explanation for sports achievement really
doesn't have anything else to contribute. It shows a lack of
intelligence. It's abhorrent."

ENOUGH ALREADY!

Although they diligently repeated the grotesque falsehood that these
racist comments are by "anonymous" and "faceless" people on "social
networks", Johnson and Yalden are perfectly aware of the identities of
the worst culprits.

If Johnson or Yalden really believed that racism is abhorrent, if they
had an ounce of integrity, they would not have been talking to Larry
Williams, who is a notorious race-baiter.

They would also refuse to speak to or indeed have anything to do with
Paul Holmes, Leighton Smith or Tony Veitch, all of them notorious
racist hate-mongers, and all of them employees of NewstalkZB.

I "got with" that T.J. once.

(Not that I'm boasting...)
