It was unbelievable---oh let's be honest, it was GALLING---to watch
Conrad Smith remonstrate with the referee the other night after a call
went against his team...

Whatever error Steve Walsh made, there was not a hint of dishonesty
about it, and not the slightest sign that Walsh was in any way
colluding with the home team, Queensland.
Now let's go back, if you can bear it, to the evening of October 23,
2011. Conrad Smith was on the field as a real refereeing crime, an
outrageous demolition of one team's ability to play the game was
perpetrated by one Craig Joubert, for all the world to see. Even the
drunkest, most blinkered, most defiantly one-eyed and ignorant All
Black "fans" could see it, even if some of them are not yet ready to
admit it. Yet Conrad Smith uttered not a word about the egregious
failure* of that referee, leave alone shouting angrily at him like he
did on Friday evening.
For Conrad Smith---for any All Black---to complain about any
refereeing decision is surely an act of audacity on a scale rarely
seen. It ranks right up---or right down---there with Rupert Murdoch
lecturing the BBC about ethical standards, Lady Thatcher admonishing
the Soviets about human rights violations, or Lance Armstrong
condemning drug cheats.

and resigning with the Australian referees association.
I've watched the prick over the last few years,and he definitely favours the
Aussie teams.
