BBC Panorama's ludicrous hitjob on Corbyn (Jul. 10, 2019)

Panorama...Is Labour Anti-Semitic?....couldn't take more than 3 minutes of this....

...What a disgusting attack within the first few minutes!

    Is Labour Anti-Semitic?
    Panorama

Panorama goes inside the anti-Semitism crisis gripping Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party. With exclusive interviews from key insiders and access to confidential communications and documents, this is the story of how the crises developed. Reporter John Ware reveals the evasions and contradictions at the heart of the political party which leader Jeremy Corbyn says has anti-racism at its very core.

Did you notice the seamless conflation of social media with the Labour Party?

The 'Panorama' programme was quite a clever piece of propaganda - the idea of the young Jewish talking heads detailing how they'd been verbally abused was effective - achieved largely by not dwelling on the detail. The abuse was genuine but suffered on Twitter and other social media where anybody can pretend to be anybody. No evidence whatsoever in most cases that the abusers were members of the Labour Party.

Did you also notice the uncritical way the "Disputes' team was questioned? Perhaps it is my increasing age but they all looked very young and very inexperienced to me - were they professional investigators? How many of them had had experience of dealing with these sorts of complaints in previous lines of work? I was struck by one team member who, yet again, repeated the line about Jackie Walker accusing 'the Jews' of being behind the slave trade. Since Jackie's full speech is readily available, I wonder how much real investigating, going back to primary sources etc, this 'Disputes' tem actually did or thought they should do.

Also, given the assumption in this programme that anti-semitism is so bad in the Labour Party you can't turn round without falling over or stepping in it, I'm very surprised that no-one who alleged seeing or hearing it could produce no hard evidence. No-one take their phone with them to video or record all of these "I was called a dirty Jew" outbursts?

The programme seems to have been drowned out by the UK Ambass to the US v Trump story and it's

likely that the Iran attempt to "hijack " a UK oil tanker in Iranian waters will fill the papers and TV over the weekend - so I can't see panorama making any real waves at the moment.

Anyone with an opinion online the establishment didn't like became a wicked "Cybernat" and this usually led onto an artificial feeding frenzy by the BBC, Corporate press Tories & the Labour party (Yes indeed). This would lead to calls by all the above for condemnation by variously, Alex Salmond / Nicola Sturgeon/ the SNP and demands they "bring to heel" their vicious social media "supporters" who were "out of control" and whose actions of course the Politicians marked for the hit were apparently responsible for.

Usually the supposed culprits/ sock puppets turned out not to even be members, but that didn't matter because the "hit" had been made and nobody would report the fact anyway, having of course moved on to the next "Cybernat" episode & consequent Condemnathon.

Its a low level media form of the war of attrition which you can run to create a nasty "background colour" and of course it has the advantage of providing endless amounts of cheap copy for the media out of nothing at all.

The state broadcaster has done its dirty work for the lobby. Their Panorama production last night (not watched by me) is even being promoted in the extensive and repetitive Sky News coverage of the matter. Viewers will be convinced that anti-semitism is rife within Labour.

Available for 11 months. Of course. Most of the iPlayer stuff is available for much shorter periods of time.

Look at the banner photo on the iPlayer. It includes a poster reading 'LABOUR. FOR THE MANY. NOT THE JEW

All the front pages of today's papers cover it as 'news'.

The BBC have even had Aaronovitch on Neil's 'Politics Live'. Can't tell you about the proceedings as I switched off.

Same old. Same old. In the HoL. Anti Hamas etc

              Jenny Tonge asked the question:
'To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the treatment of Palestinian children by the Israel Defense Forces.'

She received an unsatisfactory reply from Lord Ahmad, the FCO Minister. She continued:

;I thank the Minister for that reply, but Israeli soldiers are still firing directly at unarmed children 200 to 300 metres away from the Gaza fence, using high-velocity bullets aimed at their knees. I get my information from volunteer doctors from this country who go out there from time to time. Unlike ordinary bullets, these cause very severe bone and tissue damage and suck dirt and fabric remnants into the wounds. Reconstruction is impossible because of the lack of supplies, antibiotics and even morphine. It means that more than 200 young people, half of them children below the age of 18, have had limbs amputated in Gaza in the last year. Before he tries to blame Hamas, will he tell us why the IDF has to use such ammunition on children for crowd control?'

Ahmad's reply gave the following members of the lobby for Israel the opportunity to spout anti-Hamas propaganda and other lies interspersed by anodyne from Ahmad.

Ahmad is the HoL equivalent of Alistair Burt in the HoC, responsible for Middle Eastern affairs. Burt has just been replaced by Dr Andrew Murrison who was despatched to deal with Iran following the attack on the oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz.

Lady Deech - She has extensive shareholdings and is a regular visitor to Israel, twice this year already. Also a Trustee of the Community Security Trust, a special police force trained by the Met, for the Jewish community alone. It is government funded too.

Lord Livingston is the late CEO of BT and is a Trustee of Jewish Care. He thinks Israel has 'the most moral and professional army in the Middle East'! Shame on him. Think of the IDF's wars on Gaza. The bombing and air attacks still continue day by day. The Mavi Marmara attack by the Israeli navy and their attacks on ships and boats bringing aid to Gaza and so on.

He is Chairman of Man Group and of Dixons Carphone. He is a pal of Cameron as is Charles Dunstone, the former chairman of Dixons Carphone. Their turnover is now + £10 billion.

Lord Touhig is on the list of members of Labour Friends of Israel. Interesting that a Labour peer and trade unionist would be attached to such an outfit.

All part of the anti-Palestinian pro-Israel lobby grouping in our Parliament.

"Viewers will be convinced that anti-semitism is rife within Labour..."
Its amazing. This just goes on an on. With no substance behind it whatsoever, it will be interesting to see what future public polling stats say to the preposterous idea that "anti-semitism is rife within Labour".

                As Malcolm X stated:

“The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power, because they control the minds of the masses.”

                - This sinister campaign from the baseline "no evidence at all" will show just how correct he was.

-Great to see you back btw! & glad your health has improved.
