SCENE: Queen Street, Auckland. Bustling, lively. Thousands of
Chinese and Korean students, most of them smoking. Newspaper
billboards scream: BUSH AIDES ADMIT THEY LIED and "YES, PRESIDENT
LIED" ADMITS BUSH SPOKESMAN FLEISCHER. MORRISSEY BREEN and his
"companion", the gorgeous, lissome young nurse SERENA are walking up
the street. SERENA has expressed an interest in seeing one of the
tourist attractions in Auckland, the LEGENDARY Speakers' Soapbox in
Myers Park. She has heard reports from her friends that a
spectacular chin-rattling madman has been dominating the place with
his insane rantings for months, and she wants to see for herself. So
they walk together, hand in hand, with mounting excitement. Walking
past various shops, they can hear talkback radio...
