decision to go ahead with the Springbok Tour...

BEN COUCH: We will NOT be told what to do, whether by BLACK AFRICAN
STATES or by Arab states.  We have GOT to stand up on our own two feet,
because the rest of the world does not owe us a LIVING!

HOLMES:  Y-y-y-y-y-yyes, goodness mee-e-e-e-e-e-eee, whatever that
meant...

BREEN COMMENTS:  Rather disingenuous of Holmes, considering Couch was voicing identical thoughts to what Holmes did during his infamous 2003 rant about "darkies" telling "us" what to do.

BARRY HOLLAND: I see that Cambridge High School is opening its new
library today.  That's the one that was closed down by Alison Annan,
your old mate.

HOLMES: Not my mate!  Just somebody I had a bit of respect for --- a
lot of respect for, as a matter of fact.

HOLMES: Anyway, now to sports with Andrew Saville.  We've just been
looking at a picture of you eating a huge breakfast.
